My favorite Senior Portraits from this past year

Portraiture is a large part of my love affair with photography. And to compliment this love of photography I have been blessed with the love of people. Those who know this little region of the world just south of Chicago extending to Northwest Indiana know what is called "the Southsider Gift of Gab" that I truly possess. That comfort and trust I build with these young adults goes a long way of putting them at ease. I know for many this may be the first time they have been the sole subject of a portrait session such as this, so of course the nerves are flowing. For the young men almost to a man they all admit they are doing this for "Mom". The key is still that comfort. By the time we finish, they are enjoying these sessions and heartfeltly thanking me for allowing them to be themselves and enjoy the experience.  I couldn't ask for more. They truly make me proud of what I do.

I saved the last collage for a session I did for my grandson who also graduated this past May. You know, after 5 daughters this my eldest grandchild made me proud!!
